How Did I Do It?
The number is 40! Not my age, but 40 pounds. I officially lost 40 pounds. And I am done! My goal was 10, then 20 and then 25 and I made it to 35. I actually stepped on the scale last week and I lost 40 pounds. I couldn't believe my own eyes. Yes, I accomplished all of my goals and more.
People ask me all the time, “How did you do it? Were you on a plan? Did you stop eating? Do you workout 24 hours a day?” I have an answer for you. I was DETERMINED. Determination conquers all. If you set your mind to something, you can do it. I don't care if it's school, a diet, a workout or a new lifestyle, you can all do it. In January, I was fed up with ME and I wanted a NEW ME! Remember??? #newme. It was a goal I wanted to achieve and I did it.
Set a goal for you and see if you can do it. See if you can walk 1/4 mile this week. I bet you can. See if you can walk one mile next week. I know you can. I know you can walk one mile each week even if you have never walked a mile in your entire life. Get off your ass and move! I hadn’t moved in years and I move each and every day. Stop putting bad crap in your mouth. Stop being lazy. Start a NEW YOU!
